Family Weekend

Family Weekend support is prioritized for first-year students, and offers of support are based on financial aid package and expected family contributions to their students' education. A family can only take advantage of Family Travel for Family Weekend once during the student’s collegiate career. Family Weekend support may include:

• One (1) roundtrip airplane ticket to Ontario International Airport (domestic families) or to Los Angeles International Airport (international families)* or
• Up to $250 each way for mileage reimbursement if driving your own car*. Mileage is calculated based on home address and IRS mileage rate**
• 2, 3, or 4 night hotel accommodation at a college-selected hotel (Saturday night stay required) for up to four (4) people
• Transportation to/from Ontario International Airport and hotel
• Transportation to/from hotel and campus during Family Weekend (Saturday – Monday)
• Lunch and dinner provided on-campus either at Collins Dining Hall or during official Family Weekend meals based on registration
• Registration fees for up to two (2) family members to attend Family Weekend

*Only one (1) mileage reimbursement or plane ticket can be provided per family, regardless of marital status
**Please note that mileage reimbursements can only be made after commencement and travel has occurred.
