To note, there are many important deadlines for submission of new student information. Remember to check your Orientation Portal to track deadlines. Students will receive an email with detailed move-in instructions later this summer.

Congratulations, Class of 2028 and transfer students! Welcome to Claremont McKenna College’s Fall 2024 Orientation Program. We are excited to welcome the newest members of our CMC community to campus. Orientation is designed to introduce you and your family to the College's traditions, academic programs, and unique culture as well as to help you meet new people and learn more about the college experience.

International Students

CMC is deeply committed to helping international students transition to life on campus. Pre-Orientation for International Students is hosted by International Student Services (ISS) and designed for new incoming students who are not U.S. citizens and have received an F-1 visa outside the U.S.

Parents and Families

Welcome parents and families of the Class of 2028 and transfer students! Parent and Family Orientation runs concurrently with the student orientation program. After move-in, parents are offered the opportunity to: 

  • Attend special programs and presentations
  • Tour the College and learn about various aspects of the College’s academic, residential, and student life
  • Meet and mingle with other CMC families
