Abstract: The article is a summary of the data and its interpretation of the California’s Employment Development Department’s (EDD) employment report for November 2023. The employment report for regions in California shows little to no changes from the data released a month earlier. This suggests that the cyclical variation in the U.S. is stabilizing, with an upcoming national recession getting less likely.
