The Academic Standards Committee will consider petitions for incomplete grades only when a documented illness or other circumstance beyond a student's control prevents completion of a course at the end of a semester. Students requesting incompletes must provide appropriate documentation to support their petitions. If approved, students must make arrangements to finish outstanding work by the assigned deadline. An "Incomplete" grade will be updated to a letter grade when the outstanding work is completed. An "Incomplete" not completed by the assigned deadline becomes an "F" unless the Academic Standards Committee approves an extension or a late withdrawal.
