Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
The Optum Employee Assistance Program (EAP) provides confidential advice and counseling services available 24/7 at no cost to you. Counselors or other professionals can help with issues such as relationships, parenting, mental health, substance abuse, financial issues, and more. We encourage you to watch this short video with a program overview of EAP and WorkLife Services.
Employees and their immediate family members receive up to five counseling sessions with a licensed/certified therapist per issue, each calendar year.
You can also receive support for everyday tasks through the EAP’s WorkLife Services. Get referrals and consultations for concerns such as childcare and eldercare, household care and services, and personal services (such as shopping, translators, or even dog walkers). For assistance or to get started, call 800-234-5465 or log on to www.liveandworkwell.com using access code: claremontcolleges.
Please refer to this Step-by-Step Guide with instructions on how to access services online or by phone.

Please note that an authorization code is needed to utilize Talkspace, as it is a virtual visit provider and counts as an EAP visit.
