Robert Day Scholars Staff

Prag Shah leads the Robert Day Scholars Program equipping students for high impact economics/finance careers coupled with organizational and ethical leadership skills. Prag also serves as faculty lead for FIN300 & FIN301. He brings over 25 years of senior executive leadership experience driving global P&L growth, innovation, and M&A in high-tech and hospitality sectors. He has served in CEO, COO, and President roles at publicly-traded, private-equity portfolio, and venture capital startup companies.

He earned his MBA from Harvard Business School, holds MS and BS degrees in engineering from George Washington University, and a Certificate in hospitality management from Cornell. His ‘non-linear’ career path began an aerospace engineer at NASA. He also founded a college career development company and is a Certified Career Consultant.

Born in Washington, D.C., Prag has lived and worked across the U.S. and also in Japan for several years. He has served as a nonprofit Board member in the education sector, and a guest lecturer at universities. He and his wife are proud CMC parents of a 2025 econ/financial sequence graduate. Outside of work, Prag is an avid skier, adventure traveler, and photographer.

Lyn is a graduate of the University of California, Irvine where she received her bachelor’s degree in English Literature and International Studies. During her time at UCI, she was a peer advisor for the Study Abroad Center where she helped students navigate programs offered through UCEAP. Additionally, she was involved with UCI’s Asian American Studies department assisting in research to develop historical archives of the Vietnamese refugee community in Orange County. Upon graduation, Lyn took some time off to travel throughout Vietnam and when she returned she taught a creative writing class as well as managed the academic enrichment program at an arts and music center based in Irvine. In her free time, she likes to hike, cook, and explore as many national parks as possible!
 

Adilene “Addie” Lupercio is the Assistant Director of Scholars Programming and Operations for the Robert Day Scholars Program and Scholar Communities at the Soll Center for Student Opportunity. She leads the planning, implementation, and continuous improvement of year-round curricular and co-curricular programming that supports scholars' academic, professional, and leadership development. Addie oversees major program initiatives, cohort experiences, and day-to-day operations while collaborating with faculty, staff, alumni, and industry partners to create meaningful, high-impact opportunities for students.

Addie earned her Bachelor of Arts in Sociology with an emphasis in Behavioral Sciences from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona. Before joining Claremont McKenna College, she worked and volunteered with several nonprofit organizations throughout the Los Angeles area, where she developed a passion for expanding educational opportunities and supporting student success. As a proud first-generation college graduate, she is committed to creating inclusive, transformative experiences that empower students to thrive both during and after their time at CMC.

In her free time, Addie enjoys attending live music events, traveling, reading, and spending time with her husband, Sean, and their dog, Tasha.

Alex Muro is the Assistant Director of Career Services for the Robert Day Scholars (RDS) Program. His role at CMC's Soll Center encompasses RDS external relations with employers and alumni, career development coaching for cohorts of scholars pursuing a wide array of professions, and leading complex programs and operations.

Before joining Claremont McKenna College, Alex built his career across higher education, career services, and talent acquisition. He was the first in his family to graduate from college, earning his degree at UC Irvine, where he studied Chicano/Latino Studies. After graduation, he went on to work across the University of California system and moved into corporate recruiting at LinkedIn while living in the Bay Area. He later returned to Inland Southern California, where he grew up, and joined UC Riverside's School of Medicine, coaching medical students and placing them into residency programs. Across these roles, Alex has worked on both sides of the hiring table and with highly specialized talent, giving him a deep understanding of how to prepare and connect emerging professionals to career opportunities where they'll thrive.

In his free time, he enjoys kayaking, hiking, traveling, learning new languages, and spending time with his cats, Jerrie and Draco.

Breanna is the Administrative Assistant for the Robert Day Scholars Program and supports the day-to-day activities of the staff and scholars. She processes and tracks experiential funding to support students. She graduated from California Baptist University with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology. Breanna understands the importance of being supported by Career Services and the key role it played during and after college. During her time at CBU, she enjoyed assisting students, faculty and staff, families and visitors for different events and services. Upon graduating, she worked at various therapy clinics as well as a security company where she was the secretary. Breanna loves to travel to different beaches, attend sporting events, spend quality time with her family, and be a wife and dog mom at home to her two boys.
