WHO:
The Hon. Yukihiko Ikeda, a member of the House of Representatives of Japan, will speak on "Japanese Relations with the United States."
As a senior member of the ruling Liberal Democratic Party, he is one of the most influential leaders in Japan. After graduating from the Faculty of Law, Tokyo University, he entered the prestigious Japanese Ministry of Finance and was elected to the House of Representatives from the Hiroshima Prefecture in 1976, with nine consecutive reelections. He has served as Chairman of the Finance Committee, and leader of the Defense Agency and the Management Coordination Agency.
