CMC's Rose Institute of State and Local Government will sponsor a conference on the future of the Coachella Valley, to be held Friday, June 18, in Indio. The conference will be a culmination of a quality of life survey recently administered to residents of the Coachella Valley, said Julia Cox '07, conference organizer. Institute Director Ralph Rossum, the Salvatori Professor of Political Philosophy and American Constitutionalism, will present the results of the survey, which was conducted over the past two months. Participants will then engage in discussions based on the findings. This is the sixth conference on the subject sponsored by the Rose Institute.
The one-day event will begin at 8:30 a.m., and is open to the public. For more information, call: 909-621-8159.
