Pulitzer Prize winning writer Seymour Hersh, an American investigative journalist and regular contributor to The New Yorker, visits the Marian Miner Cook Athenaeum on Wednesday, Oct. 6, to discuss Inside Iraq's Abu Ghraib Prison. His lecture begins at 6:45 p.m. and is free and open to the public.
In May 2004 Hersh published a series of articles exposing the torture of Iraqi prisoners of war by U.S. military in the Abu Ghraib prison. His most recent book, Chain of Command, draws upon his experiences in Iraq.
