Professor Faggen to Speak At Times Book Festival

Robert Faggen, the Barton Evans and H. Andrea Neves Professor of Literature, will serve as a panelist for a discussion on Poetry and Criticism during the Los Angeles Times Book Festival this weekend on the UCLA campus.

The discussion on Poetry and Criticism will begin at 10:30 a.m. on Sunday, April 27, in UCLA's Young Hall, Room 24. In addition to Faggen, panelists for the talk include: critic and author Adam Kirsch; Jack Miles, former editor of the LA Times Book Review and author of God: A Biography, and poets Dana Goodyear, New Yorker contributor, and Stanley Plumly, whose six books include The Marriage in the Trees.

Faggen, whose works include serving as editor of The Notebooks of Robert Frost (Harvard University Press, 2007), serves as director of The Family of Benjamin Z. Gould Center for Humanistic Studies and is chair of the CMC literature department.
