Recent headlines announced that China had eclipsed Japan to become the world's 2nd largest economy. On August 22, Professor Minxin Pei was part of an all-star panel on CNN's GPS to discuss what the future holds for China and what this means for the United States. The discussion included predictions for when China will become the world's largest economy.
Pei is a specialist on China and U.S.-China relations and CMC's Tom and Margot Pritzker '72 Professor of Government and Roberts Fellow. He also is the director of the College's Keck Center for International and Strategic Studies.
