Joel Appel '87, President of Orange Glo International in Greenwood Village, Colo., will visit CMC on Wednesday, Feb. 23 as part of the spring semester programming for the UNOVA President's Leaders Forum.
As president and CEO of Orange Glo, Appel manages a family business that began through sales at county fairs and now counts among its clients such retail leaders as Wal-Mart and Home Dept. Since 2000, Inc. magazine has ranked Orange Glo the fourth and tenth fastest growing privately held company in the U.S. (For more on Appel: http://www.claremontmckenna.edu/news/cmcmagazine/2001summer/orangeglo/).
Now in its fifth year, the UNOVA President's Leaders Forum is a student-centered program in which alumni and friends of the College visit campus for informal, small group interaction with students and faculty. Guests participate in student-led interviews, class visits, and roundtable sessions.
