Minxin Pei Examines
60th Anniversary of
PRC in Financial Times.com

China specialist Minxin Pei, CMC's Tom and Margot Pritzker '72 Professor of Government and Roberts Fellow, as well as director of the Keck Center for International and Strategic Studies at Claremont McKenna, has written an article in today's Financial Times.com. The article, China Must Face Up to its Own History, explores the 60th anniversary of The People's Republic of China, including its transformation as a prosperous country as well as its darker struggles with "the worst human suffering, brutality and fanaticism in Chinese history," Pei writes.
