Chris Temple `12 and Zach Ingrasci `12 spent two months living under one dollar a day in a rural village in Guatemala.
Their mission was to create media that would raise awareness of global poverty and explain its reality in a way that would engage a youthful audience. So, along with their camera crew they made their way to Pe?a Blanca and rented a mud-hut and a plot of farmland.
Not your typical summer vacation, they spent just 56 dollars each in eight weeks. They did this because they believe that understanding the reality of poverty is the critical first step in addressing the problem.
