Professor Harold Koh, the Gerard C. and Bernice Latrobe Smith Professor of International Law at Yale Law School, will deliver a free public lecture on the topic:
September 11, Human Rights, and the Rule of Law
Professor Koh a graduate of Harvard University, Oxford University, and Harvard Law School, and was clerk to U.S. Supreme Court Justice Harry Blackmun. He served as Assistant Secretary of State for Democracy, Human Rights and Labor under the Clinton Administration. Koh is the is the author of several books, including Deliberative Democracy and Human Rights, Transnational Legal Problems, and The National Security Constitution. His lecture is co-sponsored by the Keck Center for International and Strategic Studies and the Marian Miner Cook Athenaeum.
