Students, faculty, and staff are invited to a Vice Presidential debate-watching event at 6 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 2 at The Marian Miner Cook Athenaeum. The televised debate between Sen. Joseph Biden and Gov. Sarah Palin will be shown on the big-screen television in the Athenaeum's Security Pacific Dining Room. Dinner will not be served for this event, but light refreshments will be available. Doors open at 5:45 p.m.; casual dress is permitted.
Thursday's debate-watching event is also open to The Claremont Colleges community. The evening will not include a post-debate discussion.
