Application for Athenaeum Student Fellow 2024-25

General information about the Ath Fellowship:

  • Ath Fellow positions are open to all CMC students in good standing
  • Ath Fellows are paid on an hourly basis 
  • Ath Fellows work approximately 10-12 hours a week, which includes being at the Ath most Monday–Thursdays from 5:30–8 p.m. and researching and writing speaker introductions
  • Ath Fellows are responsible for hosting only evening speakers in Eggert Dining Hall
  • Other primary duties include:
    • Welcoming speakers during Ath evening receptions
    • Hosting speaker and guests at the head table
    • Managing the Q&A
    • Serving on the Athenaeum advisory committee
    • Helping select the following year’s Fellows
    • Suggesting speakers and themes to Ath director
