CMC WORLDMEET 2025 - BUENOS AIRES, ARGENTINA

Join us for CMC’s Worldmeet 2025, a uniquely curated cultural, culinary, and learning experience in Buenos Aires!

Celebrated for its streetside tango, world-class cuisine and wines, and vibrant history, Buenos Aires, the stately capital of Argentina, is an economic, political, and cultural force in South America.

With experienced locals and CMC’s own Julio Garín, the Peter K. Barker Associate Professor of Economics, we will explore the historic neighborhoods of Buenos Aires, including the artsy La Boca and San Telmo areas, the notable Recoleta Cemetery and the Jewish Quarters, as well as other significant areas and monuments in this enchanting capital city. Also on the docket is a day trip to the countryside for an insider’s perspective on the famous “gaucho” and ranch culture in Argentina.

Over excellent meals, superb Argentinian wines, and warm CMC camaraderie, we also will hear and learn from local experts who will help us understand Argentinian politics, economy, history, culture and arts, international relations, and other contemporary issues.

The All-Inclusive Package includes lunch and dinner on Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday, lunch only on Friday and Sunday, beverages during sponsored functions, transportation to and from sponsored programs Wednesday - Sunday, entry tickets/tours, gratuities for guides, and $5 to support students at CMC. Please note, the fee does not include flight, hotel, transportation to/from hotel and airport, breakfast, dinner on Friday, or other incidentals. Cancellations made by May 1 will receive a refund.
