Rebeca Castaneda Leffler, Ph.D.

Rebeca Castaneda Leffler is a visiting assistant professor of government at Claremont McKenna College. Her research and teaching interests include American political thought, the American presidency, literature and politics, and rhetoric and poetics. More specifically, she is interested in how political philosophy has influenced the American political tradition and how American statesmen have used rhetoric in times of war. Leffler earned a Ph.D. in political science from Claremont Graduate University and a B.A. in English from California State University, Los Angeles.
