2025 Benefits Open Enrollment

Dear Benefit-Eligible Faculty & Staff,   

The 2025 Benefits Open Enrollment period begins Monday, October 14, and ends on Friday, November 1, at 5:00 p.m. PST.  

We highly encourage everyone to log in and review their benefits. If you do not make any changes, your current benefit elections will remain the same.

A giveaway prize will be awarded to all who submit their open enrollment in Workday on the first day, Monday, October 14!

Participants in the Flexible Spending Account (FSA) and Health Savings Account (HSA) must re-enroll during open enrollment, as current year elections will NOT carry over.  

All benefit elections are effective January 1, 2025, and will remain in effect through December 31, 2025, unless you experience a qualifying life event that would allow you to make a mid-year change.  

Please review the 2025 Benefits Guide carefully, as it contains detailed information about the 2025 benefits.  Open enrollment is the time to make changes and review your benefits, including Health Care – Medical, Dental, and Vision; Savings Accounts – Flexible Spending or Health Savings Accounts; and Financial Protection – AD&D and Life Insurance.
 
Below are a few key details about this year’s Open Enrollment: 

New! Transition from Anthem Vision Plan to VSP Vision Care Plan:

Effective January 1, 2025, we are excited to announce that we will be switching our vision plan coverage to Vision Service Plan, commonly known as VSP. This change will bring several enhancements to your vision benefits.

  • Costco and Sam’s Club will now be In-Network providers starting in 2025.

Benefit Enrollment Assistance - Monday, October 14 - Friday, November 1:

The Office of Human Resources will be available 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday, during Open Enrollment. Employees can schedule in-person appointments by emailing hr@cmc.edu or calling (909) 621-8490.

How to Complete your Open Enrollment Starting October 14 through November 1:

To review your current benefits and make any desired plan changes for the new plan year, please log into Workday using your network credentials, which are the same credentials that you use to access your email. For assistance with your credentials, please contact the IT Help Desk at (909) 607-0911. 

Once you are in Workday, check your inbox for the “Open Enrollment Change” task starting October 14. 

Review your current benefit elections and make any desired plan changes for the new year.  After completing your selections, click the “I Agree” button on your Enrollment Summary page and click “Submit” to finalize your enrollment.  Further, we strongly recommend printing out the confirmation of your elections for your records.
