Money Magazine named Claremont McKenna College one of America’s top colleges based on graduation rates, cost of attendance, financial aid, and alumni salaries.
Money’s ranking of 2024 Best Colleges offered an analysis of more than 700 four-year colleges and looked at dozens of data points related to quality, affordability, and student outcomes. In the ranking, the publication pointed out that CMC admits 10% of applicants and has a 91% graduation rate. Money additionally highlighted that CMC is committed to meeting 100% of a student’s demonstrated financial need.
The publication noted that construction is currently underway for CMC’s new state-of-the-art integrated sciences building—the Robert Day Sciences Center (RDSC)—and is one of the many exciting opportunities students have access to. The RDSC is scheduled to open in 2025.
“Claremont McKenna College’s mission is distinct and has a clear intention: to prepare students for thoughtful and productive lives and responsible leadership in business, government, and the professions,” said Jennifer Sandoval-Dancs, Associate Vice President for Admission & Financial Aid.
“Our community is dedicated to supporting our students in living out this mission by providing extensive research opportunities, personalized career advising, mentorship, and intentional leadership development. These tools empower our students to step into exceptional post-graduation roles. The impressive outcomes of our graduates and their impact in their professional space are a testament to the power of our mission and the inspiration it provides to our students to navigate and lead through the complexities of our times.”
Money’s designation follows a #8 ranking for salary impact by The Wall Street Journal in September of 2023.
