VidGrid

For the fall 2020 semester, ITS is delighted to announce the availability of VidGrid, a new resource to facilitate the creation and development of asynchronous and interactive learning materials.  


VidGrid is an Interactive Video Platform for Education, and it may be worth your taking a closer look. VidGrid can help promote learning with interactive video lessons and student recording assignments.  It captures and records from your screen, your webcam or both. You can add voice-overs to slides, and it has interactive features and one-click ADA compliant closed captioning. It is also much less complicated to use than some other products. This ITS implementation is a six month pilot program. During this time period, ITS will offer workshops and training sessions and support all faculty adopting the VidGrid platform. After the pilot is over, we will ask for input from VidGrid adopters to help us as we discuss whether to pursue formal approval and purchase of VidGrid for the spring 2021 semester and beyond.
