Mike Kovar is an entrepreneur, CPA, CFA and college educator with over 25 years of accounting experience in public, private and PE-backed organizations.   Mike has been CFO for a variety of organizations, most recently Acra Lending - a PE-backed national mortgage loan originator.   Mike is also a frequent keynote speaker at conferences and founded the blog CFO War Stories and Executive Insights located at MikeKovar.com.  He was nominated for the 2024 Orange County Business Journal CFO of the Year - Private Company Category and was also a finalist for the 2024 LA Times CFO of the Year - Large Private Company Category.
