Merit-Based Scholarships

Merit-based scholarships are not need-based and are awarded by the Office of Admission. The coordination of merit scholarships within your financial aid awards vary by each scholar community.

Private Outside Scholarships

Outside scholarships are funds awarded by entities apart from the federal, state, and institutional aid programs. Because CMC awards financial aid to meet full demonstrated need, federal regulations require that these scholarships be evaluated and incorporated into a student’s financial aid award, and as such, adjustments may need to be made to existing aid.

Private outside scholarships must be reported to CMC's Office of Financial Aid. Please have scholarship agencies mail all scholarship checks to the following:
