Steve Grove '00, YouTube's director of news and politics, was interviewed by CBS News anchor Harry Smith on Tuesday, June 17, about “YouTube's critical role in documentation of protests in Iran.”

Grove, who was a PPE major while at CMC and went on to Harvard for graduate studies, was named one of 12 “People to Watch in 2008” by Newsweek.
He recently chatted with CMC about his role at YouTube, as well as the Web site's vast presence in last year's presidential election.
“Americans have a huge appetite for political video; 35 percent of all Americans (regardless of Internet access) say they've seen a political video online,” Grove said. “That's a mind-boggling statistic to me.”
