Tickets Now on Sale for Nov. 22 Ludracris Concert at Bridges

Student tickets are now on sale for Grammy Award-winning hip hop artist Ludacris, performing at 8 p.m. at Bridges Auditorium on Saturday, Nov. 22. The concert is sponsored by the Associated Students of Claremont McKenna College.
The three-time Grammy winner, born Christopher Bridges, has released six albums for the Def Jam recording label, with a seventh-- album (Theater of the Mind) due in stores Nov. 25. Ludacris earned a first Grammy in 2005 for Best Rap/Sung Collaboration for the song "Yeah," and two more in 2007one for Best Rap Song ("Money Maker") and Best Rap Album (Release Therapy).

Tickets for students of Pitzer, Scripps, Harvey Mudd, and Pomona colleges may be now be purchased for $35one per student IDat the Bridges box office, or, in cases where blocks of tickets may have been bought in advance by individual collegesfrom the respective offices of the dean of students. Discounted tickets for CMC students will go on sale at 7 p.m. tonight at The Hub for $20. Students are limited to one ticket per ID. Those students who wish to purchase an additional ticket for a guest outside of the College can do so, but must pay the general admission ticket price of $45 for each additional ticket, while supplies last.

General admission tickets for the greater public, as well as tickets for staff and faculty of The Claremont Colleges, will go on sale Friday, Oct. 31. Tickets are $45 and may be purchased through the Bridges Auditorium box office or through Ticketmaster.
As a musician, Ludracris calls himself the "MVP of rap.
"When you put everything in rap, as far as lyrics, visuals, record sales, personality, conceptual songs, I feel like I'm the summation of all. I feel like there's nothing I can't do."
