Created and organized completely by students, the inaugural Claremont Councours automobile show will be held on the Claremont McKenna College campus on Saturday, April 5, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The theme, Celebrating the Art of the Automobile, includes cars of all eras and styles.
Special guests will include Richard Marconi, founder of the Marconi Foundation for Kids and the Marconi Automotive Museum, and Ken Okuyama, former chief designer, Pininfarina Ricerca e Sviluppo S.p.A., Italy, where he designed for Ferrari and Maserati.
The event, organized by the students in the Claremont Colleges Automotive Enthusiasts Club and the Four Safe Wheels Foundation, is sponsored by Claremont McKenna College, Claremont University Consortium, Arter and Hadden LLP, Marconi Foundation for Kids, Art Center College of Design, and Savage BMW.
