Professor Riggio To Be Featured At Chamber Business Conference

Ronald Riggio, the Henry R. Kravis Professor of Leadership and Organizational Psychology, will be a featured speaker at the Claremont Chamber of Commerce's 2006 Economic and Business Conference on Wednesday, Feb. 22 at the Hughes Community Center in Claremont. Riggio will discuss Leading a Small Business: The Keys to Success during the conference's morning session.

As director of CMC's Kravis Leadership Institute, Riggio has authored or edited several books on organizational psychology, communication and leadership, including The Charisma Quotient (1987), Introduction to Industrial/Organizational Psychology (1996) and Applications of Nonverbal Communication in Research (2004).

Also speaking at this session is Dr. Myrna Elliott, spouse of CMC's Burnet C. Wohlford Professor Of American Political Institutions, Ward Elliott, with keynote address by Jack Kyser, chief economist at the Los Angeles County Economic Development Corporation.
