Class of 2007 students Candice Camargo, Anne Fairman, and Jonathan Yahalom, will be the featured speakers for a Parents Club forum/panel discussion from 7:30 to 9 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 14 in the Founders Room, located in Bauer North.
The CMC juniors each will discuss their individual participation in larger humanitarian efforts over summer break. Camargo joined four other students from The Claremont Colleges for an 11-day road trip across California, raising awareness of the ongoing crisis in Darfur. Fairman spent a portion of her summer working with AIDS patients in South Africa, while Yahalom was part of a team working in Sri Lanka to build schools and homes there.
