Michael Armacost on U.S. Foreign Policy, Nov. 4

Michael Armacost, CMC's Freeman Foundation Visiting Professor of Asian Affairs and a Shorenstein Distinguished Fellow in the Asia/Pacific Research Center at Stanford University, will be the guest speaker at a luncheon lecture on Thursday, Nov. 4, at the Marian Miner Cook Athenaeum. Armacost's discussion, Where is U.S. Foreign Policy Now that the Election is Over? begins at 12:15 p.m. and is free and open to the public.

Armacost was president of the Brookings Institution from 1995 to 2002, and during his 24 years in governmenthas served in such capacities as U.S. ambassador to Japan and the Philippines.
