Former Treasurer Kathleen BrownTo Campus for UNOVA Leaders Forum

Kathleen Brown, Goldman Sachs & Co. managing director and head of West Coast municipal finance, will visit CMC on Nov. 4 for the UNOVA Leaders Forum. Brown is the former Treasurer of the State of California, Democratic party nominee for governor, co-chair of the Presidential Commission on Capital Budgeting, and LAUSD board member. She received her bachelor's degree in history from Stanford University and is a graduate of Fordham University School of Law.

The UNOVA Leaders Forum brings to campus outstanding alumni and friends of the College for informal meetings and interaction with students and faculty. While at CMC, Brown will visit several classes, including American Families with Professor Diana Selig, and History of European Aristocracy with Professor Jonathan Petropoulos, as well as several small sessions, and a videotaped student interview.
