Deloitte & Touche Chair Sharon Allen To Visit President's Leader's Forum

Sharon Allen, chairman of the board, Deloitte & Touche LLP, will be on campus Monday, April 25 and Tuesday, April 26 to participate in the UNOVA President's Leaders Forum.

Allen leads the firm's governance process, serves as the U.S. representative on the organization's Global Governance Committee, chairs the firm's Global Risk Management Committee, and oversees the firm's relationships with a number of major multinational clients. She has also served as managing partner for Deloitte's Pacific Southwest practice, which includes offices in Los Angeles, Costa Mesa, San Diego, Phoenix, Las Vegas, and Reno.

A frequent speaker and panelist on the topics of governance, human resources, and international commerce, Allen serves as a director for The Foundation for the Malcolm Baldridge National Quality Award, and is a member of the Women's Leadership Board at the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard. She has received numerous awards for her business and community leadership, including selection as a Woman of the Year for the New York City Police Athletic League, one of 50 Women to Watch by The Wall St. Journal, and an honorary doctorate in administrative science from her alma mater, the University of Idaho.

The UNOVA President's Leaders Forum, now in its fifth year, is a student-centered program in which alumni and friends of the College visit campus for informal, small group interaction with students and faculty. Guests participate in student-led interviews, class visits, and roundtable sessions.
