Trustee David Mgrublian '82 P'11 will speak at the Marian Miner Cook Athenaeum on Friday, Sept. 26. His lecture, which will kick-off the fall 2008 Lunch with a Leader Series sponsored by the Robert Day School of Economics and Finance, will begin at 12:30 p.m., and is free and open to the public. Seating is available on a first-come basis. The Athenaeum is located at 385 East Eighth St., at the intersection of Eighth and Amherst streets in Claremont.
Mgrublian is CEO of IDS Real Estate Group. He received a bachelor's degree in economics and political science from Claremont McKenna College and an MBA from Harvard University. Mgrublian, a trustee of Claremont McKenna College and Westridge School in Pasadena, is a director of the Western Diocese Armenian Church Summer Camp and former chairman of the board of trustees of St. Mark's School in Altadena. He is former president of the Associated Students of Claremont McKenna College and the Claremont McKenna College Alumni Association. Mgrublian will share insights into the real estate industry and some of his strategies for success.
