Claremont McKenna College is hosting multiple youth sports camps for children and teens ages 10-18 during the month of June, with Nike Sports Camps offered in tennis, golf, soccer, junior volleyball, and swimming. Additional camp options will be hosted by CMS head coaches on CMC's campus in baseball, lacrosse, football, and basketball, as well as a second volleyball camp for aspiring collegiate athletes.

Nike Junior Volleyball Camp returns to Claremont this summer after a sold-out session last year. The camp is one session only, Sunday through Thursday, June 1519, for girls of all abilities, ages 10-18. Camp director Erika Chidester brings more than a decade's experience in playing, coaching, and running camps. This camp session is available for extended day (9 a.m. to 8 p.m.) and overnight campers. Overnight campers stay in the mid-quad dorms and will eat all meals on campus. CMS Aspiring Collegiate Athlete Volleyball Camp: The college selection process is one of the most exciting, most important and most overwhelming milestones in a high school student's life. When coupled with the aspiration to play collegiate volleyball, ideally on a scholarship, the process becomes even more daunting for players and their parents. CMS Aspiring Collegiate Athlete Volleyball Camp is one of the only camps in the nation that offers outstanding volleyball instruction, while simultaneously giving students an edge in the college search by including SAT prep classes and extensive college counseling. Limited to 25 rising junior and senior girls in the nation, this camp caters to the serious athlete who is determined to find the right college fit, not just for volleyball, but for her entire futurethe college with the best academic, social and athletics opportunities available. Golf Camp Nike Junior Golf Camp is in its first summer at Claremont. The camp, directed by CMS men's golf coach Bim Jollymour, is one session only, Sunday, June 22Thursday, 26, for boys and girls of all abilities, ages 10-18. Campers will play daily at the Empire Lakes Golf Course designed by Arnold Palmer, just minutes from CMC's campus. CMS men's and women's tennis coaches Paul and Kathy Settles return to head up their fifth year of Nike Junior Tennis Camps. There are three sessions to choose from for boys and girls ages 8-18. Two weeks of camp for players of all ability levels run Sunday, June 15Friday, June 20, and then again June 22-27. These sessions are available for day (9 a.m. to 4 p.m.), extended day (9 a.m. to 8 p.m.) and overnight campers. Overnight campers stay in the mid-quad dorms and will eat all meals on campus.
