CMC's Annual Family Picnic Fiesta to be held Aug. 13

CMC's annual Family Picnic theme for 2010 is a Fiesta! The picnic will be held from noon to 4:30 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 13, in the quad area located north of Collins Dining Hall.
The event, open to CMC staff, faculty, emeriti, families and friends, will be catered by El Cerrito, and will feature a taco bar (carne asada, chicken, and potato), beans & rice, freshly made specialty salsas, guacamole, aquas frescas, and desserts including flan, arroz con leche, and churros. DJ Latin Ace will be providing musical entertainment, and there will be many activities for children, including face painting, an inflatable bounce house and balloon animals. Raffle prizes will be given out from 1 to 2 p.m. and 3 to 4 p.m. for ages 18 years and older, and the infamous dunk tank will provide an opportunity for you to get your favorite staff member wet.
This year's annual CMC Family Picnic is a collaborative effort of the Claremont McKenna College Activities Committee (CMAC) and the Office of the President.
