Claremont McKenna College announces the appointment of Ernie Iseminger as the College's Vice President for Development and External Relations.
Prior to joining the staff at CMC, Iseminger was the senior associate vice president for development and alumni relations at George Washington University. He also has held the position of vice president for development and alumni affairs at Oberlin College. In all, Iseminger has 20 years of experience in the area of advancement in higher education.

"His extensive leadership experiences at an outstanding liberal arts college and a national private research university provide highly relevant preparation to lead our ambitious fundraising program. Iseminger earned a bachelor's degree in education from Washington State University. After graduating, he served for eight years as a rowing coach for the men's crew team at the University. He also was the chief fundraiser for the men's crew team, which led him to a career in advancement.
Claremont McKenna College is in the midst of one of the Nation's largest capital campaigns for a private, liberal arts college. The Campaign for Claremont McKenna will raise $600 million to support faculty and student initiatives, facilities, and the College's new Robert Day Scholars Program.
