Claremont McKenna College has again been named among the nation's top liberal arts colleges, ranking 12th in the 2004 U.S. News & World Report Guide to America's Best Colleges. The annual survey examines 217 liberal arts colleges, with key measures including peer college assessment, graduation and retention rates, faculty resources, alumni giving, and student selectivity. CMC was rated sixth in selectivity, 11th in financial resources, and 15th in alumni giving categories.
