Carla Christofferson Featured in
Robert Day School's
Distinguished Speakers Series

On Feb. 4, the Robert Day School Distinguished Speakers Series will feature Carla Christofferson during a luncheon at the Marian Miner Cook Athenaeum. Lunch will begin at 11:30, and Christofferson's talk will begin at noon. Christofferson's talk is open to the public.
Christofferson is the Managing Partner of the Los Angeles office of O'Melveny & Myers LLP, and a member of the Business Trial and Litigation Practice. Her practice focuses on commercial civil litigation in a variety of areas, including energy, environmental, contract disputes, and unfair trade practices.
In addition to her legal practice, Christofferson served as the Talent Development Partner at O'Melveny, overseeing the development of training, mentoring, evaluation, and recruiting programs. Other leadership roles at the Firm include serving on the Firm's Executive Committee, acting as the Firm's National Hiring Partner, and serving as a member of the Firm's Values Award Committee.
Christofferson is active in community service in the Los Angeles area, serving on the board of several nonprofit organizations, including the Los Angeles Library Foundation and High Tech Los Angeles, and as a member of the United Way Women Leaders. She is also the co-owner of the Los Angeles Sparks WNBA franchise since 2006.
After earning a B.A from the University of North Dakota, Christofferson received her J.D. from Yale Law School. She served as a law clerk for the Honorable W. Matthew Byrne, Jr. with the U.S. District Court in the Central District of California prior to joining O'Melveny & Myers.
