Evans ITAB Networking Trek 2024
The Silicon Valley Networking Trek will allow you to explore a variety of career paths and make valuable connections with professionals in technology and entrepreneurship. During this trek, our visits will be focused on meeting with organizations and representatives in the Technology & Entrepreneurship industries from Silicon Valley with both in-person and virtual elements. We will be meeting with representatives with both technical (SWE, data analytics) and non-technical (product management, marketing, bizdev, customer success, etc.) skill sets. Due to the hybrid virtual-and-on-site nature of this year’s trek, we may be able to meet with professionals from other geographic areas (time zones and availability permitting) though the focus will remain on Silicon Valley.

Students with demonstrated financial need will be offered financial assistance based on their current status with the financial aid office. Otherwise, there is no allowance or reimbursement of travel expenses getting to the hotel or returning to campus after the Trek concludes. Once in Silicon Valley, and the Trek begins, transportation to all scheduled events will be via chartered coach. Students may not drive themselves, or other students, to any of the scheduled events.

Use of the hotel amenities are encouraged, remembering that all participants of the Trek are ambassadors of CMC and should behave accordingly.
Meals: Meals associated with formal Trek events will be provided by ITAB for all participants from Sunday evening through Friday afternoon the week of the Trek. Any meals not part of the Trek are the responsibility of each student.
