As the Fall semester began, so did the CMC journeys of the 337 members of Claremont McKenna College’s Class of 2028, a prolific group of student leaders hailing from 36 states and 21 countries.

Transfer and returning students also brought plenty of excitement to campus, ready to dig into the curricular and co-curricular activities that define the CMC community—from making lasting connections during Welcome Orientation Adventure trips, to learning about constructive dialogue and accessing personalized peer tutoring through the Dean of Students office, to exploring professional pursuits with the knowledgeable team from the Soll Center for Student Opportunity.

Here are some of our favorite moments from the early Fall semester.

“You are the author of this next step; the script is unwritten, and you will continue to evolve and discover your potential, passions, and the power of your peers—the power of this entire community.”

“What we do at CMC would not be possible without the people who make this community so incredibly special … Yes, we are here to learn from each other. But let’s always make sure we take care of each other.”

—Heather Antecol, Vice President for Academic Affairs and Dean of the Faculty, Convocation 2024
