The annual career fair launched the school year with an impressive 63 employers, who talked with more than 400 students about job opportunities, according to Michelle Chamberlain, associate vice president of CMC’s Student Opportunities Center. The largest share represented consulting and financial services and business, she said, with real estate and technology and sciences making up the remainder of the employers. After the three-hour fair at Roberts Pavilion, students were welcomed to join informal chats organized by employers, to learn more about topics ranging from workplace culture to internships.
