Dean Taylor ’73 retired after a 40 year career in the front offices of Major League Baseball teams. After playing baseball for the Stags under Bill Arce, Taylor worked his way up from minor league roles and assistant general manager positions to Vice President of Baseball Operations for the World Champion Kansas City Royals.

Zephanii Smith ’13 addressed women gathered at United Nations Headquarters in New York City in November as a fellow for the 2015 Women’s Entrepreneurship Day, meant to empower, celebrate and support women in business. Smith, who graduated with a BA in government with a leadership sequence, credits CMC and particularly her work with the Kravis Leadership Institute for introducing her to the world of social entrepreneurship.
