Oversees all Career Services programs and events
Diana has been a Career Services professional for over 20 years, first at the Claremont Graduate University and then at Claremont McKenna College starting in 1997. She worked in both an Employer Relations role and with the Sponsored Internship Program in CMC Career Services before moving to the CMC Admissions Office for 8 years. Diana rejoined the Career Services Center in August of 2008 as the Acting Director and became Director in early 2009. Diana counsels students of all majors, but focuses primarily on Government, IR, Philosophy and Public Affairs, and Science majors. She has an undergraduate degree in Psychology from Whitman College and an MBA from the Drucker School of Management at the Claremont Graduate University.

Associate Director and Employer Relations Manager
Oversees the recruiting program
Beth manages the on-campus recruiting program and works with students to help them realize their career goals. Prior to joining Career Services, Beth worked as a recruiter for seven years with a focus on placing accounting and finance individuals. Additionally, Beth worked in public accounting where she was involved with both audit and tax engagements. Beth is excited to come back to the Claremont community, where she earned her degree in Economics and Accounting at Claremont McKenna College and her MBA from Claremont Graduate University.
Oversees CMC sponsored internships
A native of Claremont, Jason began his career in higher education shortly after earning his B.A. from UCLA. After working at UC Berkeley for several years, he returned to Southern California and began temping at CMC while he pursued his passion for playing music. Two years, ten assignments and several tours later, Jason became the Assistant Director for Student Affairs at CMC's Dean of Students Office, a position he held for almost five years. "I'm excited to be back at CMC," Jason wrote of his position with Career Services, "and look forward to helping student s obtain meaningful summer internships."
Coordinates events and programs
Anavely Rodriguez joined Career Services on April 1, 2014 as the Assistant Director, Event and Social Media Coordinator. She will coordinate events and programs designed to guide students on career and graduate opportunities. Anavely earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and Spanish from Loyola Marymount University. As she started her higher education career working for LMU, she worked concurrently on completing her Master of Arts degree in Guidance and Counseling. Using her education, Anavely works with students in the preparation and research of job opportunities, career paths, in addition to providing student loan counseling. On the personal side, Anavely was born and raised in Los Angeles; she enjoys traveling and learning about new cultures.
Handles on-campus recruiting logistics and budgetary matters
Charlene was born in Pomona and has always been a resident of the Inland Empire. She attended Pitzer College and Chaffey College. She began working in Career Services at Claremont Graduate University in 1981 and came to CMC in 1999. She enjoys working with the employers as well as the students and loves the campus environment. She has two grown sons, a daughter-in-law and three beautiful grandchildren.
Manages the office and supervises interns
Sandra is a Southern Californian and has an extensive work experience in corporate America. In 1998 she decided to transition from the recruiting team at Accenture to the career services team at CMC in order to achieve life balance with her young family. She takes great pride in helping students prepare for life after CMC and shares her business knowledge with them.

Oversees individual career and employer outreach plans
Michelle Chamberlain is the Director of Employer Relations. In this capacity, Michelle primarily works with the undergraduate Robert Day Scholars and the Master’s Program in Finance students from The Robert Day School of Economics and Finance to craft individual career and employer outreach plans, provide industry specific resume and cover letter assistance, and conduct extensive interview preparation. Additionally, Michelle plans networking events and other activities designed to connect students and prospective employers. Previously, Michelle was an attorney with O’Melveny & Myers LLP, specializing in Private Equity and Mergers and Acquisitions.

Assists with career development and employer resources
Marisa Walter assists finance-focused economics majors, the Robert Day Scholar undergraduate program and the Master’s Program in Finance students with internship and full-time placement. She helps to facilitate the career development process, networking opportunities and other on and off campus activities designed to enhance the recruiting experience for students. Marisa graduated from Claremont McKenna College with a Bachelor's degree in Economics and Claremont Graduate University with a Master's in Education. Her background includes work in human capital consulting, financial service recruiting and coordination of youth education programs.
