To CMC Community,

After eight fulfilling years as Chair of the CMC Board of Trustees, I will be stepping down on June 30, 2014 and will join Robert Day, Bob Lowe, and Peter Barker as an Emeritus Chair Trustee.

This past week our Board confirmed David Mgrublian ’82 P’11 as our next Board Chair. David is ideally suited to lead our terrific Board of Trustees and to partner with President Chodosh to continue CMC’s spectacular momentum.

David began his Board service as an alumnus trustee in 2000 and continued on as a regular trustee in 2003. Among David’s many contributions to CMC, he has served as both ASCMC and CMCAA president, chaired the Board’s Building and Grounds committee (overseeing our campus transformation in that role), and led the Presidential Search Committee, which brought Hiram Chodosh to CMC.

In addition to his CMC commitments, David is the past board chair of St. Marks School in Altadena, and Westridge School in Pasadena.

David is currently CEO of IDS Real Estate Group, a successful commercial real estate firm. In addition to his prestigious CMC degree, he has an MBA from Harvard Business School. He and his wife, Margaret, have two wonderful daughters, Kathryn (CMC ’11) and Madlyn (Williams ’13).

Please join me in wishing David all the best for continued success with his new responsibilities!

Yours,

Harry McMahon ’75 P’08 P’09
