She encourages freshmen and sophomores to come meet with her for any reason – big or small – and always enjoys meeting new people. Originally from St. Louis, Kristin traveled to Vermont to attend Middlebury College, where she majored in Italian and minored in art history. She spent her junior year abroad in Italy and hopes everyone will find time to study abroad. She has a Master's degree in Higher Education Administration from Northwestern University, and other than all those pesky Cubs fans, she loved living in Chicago. She and her dog Bailey can often be seen walking around campus in the evenings, and they both love it when students say hello. In her free time, Kristin enjoys Cardinals baseball, hiking, and taking advantage of the sunny California weather. She often takes trips down to Encinitas to visit her baby nephew, whose picture you will see all over her office.
