U.S. FOREIGN POLICY TOWARD IRAQ, THE GULF, AND THE MIDDLE EAST

Edward Haley: W. M. Keck Foundation Professor of International Strategic Studies (Ph.D., Johns Hopkins University)

--Areas of expertise: U.S. foreign policy toward Iraq, the Gulf, and Arab-Israeli and Israeli-Palestinian conflicts. He has been an international affairs fellow at the Council on Foreign Relations, served as a foreign affairs assistant in Congress and in the Senate, and has been appointed a Public Policy Scholar, Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars. Haley is the author of numerous books, including Qadaffi and the United States Since 1969, the first by an American author on the subject; and Strategies of Dominance: U.S. Strategies Since the End of the Cold War (in progress).
