The Keck Center for International and Strategic Studies completed a major study on terrorism and protection of critical infrastructure in Asia.

The study covers seven major Asian countries – China, India, Japan, Korea, Indonesia, Thailand, and the Philippines.

Led by Tom and Margot Pritzker '72 Professor of Government, George R. Roberts Fellow, and Director of the Keck Center Minxin Pei, the research team, which consisted of Shree Pandya ’14, Alexander Pei ’13, and Tim Rotolo ’14 produced a 100-page report that gathers open-source information on terrorist threats, activities, and counter-terrorism efforts in these countries.

The project was sponsored by FLIR Systems, a leading hi-tech company based on Oregon. The team went to Hong Kong last May and presented their findings at a workshop held at the Chinese University of Hong Kong on “Terrorism, Counter-Terrorism, and Critical Infrastructure Protection in Asia.”
