Alexander Bonnett '09
Alex is a senior at Claremont McKenna College majoring in Economics and planning on completing the Financial Economics Sequence. He is also considering the new Masters of Finance program. Alex plays third base for the Stags baseball team and is also a member of both the Invest Club and Claremont McKenna Student Investment Fund. After graduation, Alex hopes to pursue a career in business or finance.

Christopher Brigham '09
Chris is a senior at CMC majoring in Economics and completing the Financial Economics Sequence. He is a Robert Day Scholar, president of the Claremont Entrepreneurial Society, and was previously a co-president of the Student Investment Fund. In the past, he has worked for The Compass Group, a private equity firm in Westport, Connecticut, and Merrill Lynch in London. After graduation, he will be returning to London to begin his career as an equity trader. In the long run, Chris hopes to work in alternative asset management.

Nick Burnett '09
Nick is a senior at CMC majoring in Economics and Accounting with the Financial Economics Sequence. In addition to working at the FEI, Nick is the Resident Assistant of Mark's Hall, as well as the President of the Claremont Accounting Association. He is a native of Beaverton, Oregon, and after graduation, he will begin working for Ernst & Young in San Francisco.

Harshvardhan Chowdhary '10
Harsh is a junior at CMC majoring in Economics-Accounting and plans to complete the Financial Economics Sequence. Originally from Calcutta, Harsh was an intern at Hang Seng Bank in Hong Kong this summer, where he worked in the Structured Products Department. In addition to working at the FEI, he leads a team of four Research Analysts for the RAND/Lowe Institute project investigating litigation against pharmaceutical companies to observe the effect on stock prices. He is the Principal of the Biotech & Healthcare group of the Student Investment Fund, co-president of the Aspiring Economists Society and editor of the McKenomics Newsletter. After graduation, Harsh plans to pursue a career in investment banking or asset management.

Nathan Doctor '11
Nathan is a sophomore at CMC and an Economics and Mathematics major planning to complete the Financial Economics Sequence. Raised in Palo Alto, California, he is an avid cyclist as well as a passionate sports fan. In addition to working for the Financial Economics Institute, Nathan is a Research Analyst for the RAND Corporation through the Lowe Institute of Political Economy, a Tutor for Intermediate Microeconomics, and an active Internet entrepreneur. After graduation, he plans to pursue his entrepreneurial interests, or an advanced degree in economics.

Hannah Gregg '12
Hannah Gregg is a freshman at CMC, majoring in Economics and planning on completing the Finance Sequence, while also considering a dual major in History. She grew up in Minneapolis, Minnesota and is fully enjoying sunny California. In addition to working for the FEI, Hannah is a student intern with the CMC Public Affairs Office and assists special events in Development. As a freshman, she is excited to see new opportunities open up and currently has no specific plans for after graduation.

Kristine Grigsby '09
Kristine is a senior at CMC and has a dual major in International Relations and Economics. She is playing in her fourth season on the CMS volleyball team and also plays rugby for the 5C's. She spent her spring semester 2008 in Strasbourg, France where she worked at the Council of Europe. Kristine will be pursuing a career in consulting after graduation.

Kevin Hesla '09
Kevin is a senior, economics major at Claremont McKenna. He will be completing the requirements for the Finance Sequence, along with his thesis, next semester. Kevin works as a mentor with Uncommon Good based out of Claremont and previously ran track for CMS. He is unsure about his specific plans within the financial and business fields, at present, but he hopes to get his MBA or a Master's degree in the future.

Freya Lee '09
Freya, a San José, CA native, will graduate in the spring of 2009 with a dual major in Economics and Mathematics and the Financial Economics Sequence. Most of her time outside of studies is devoted to CMC Christian Fellowship and tutoring at-risk children as part of Kidcare International's Study Buddies program. Freya is interested in pursuing a career in economic and/or business strategy consulting, and the skills and knowledge she has gained from the CMC Mathematics, Economics, and Finance departments will take her a long ways in helping society.

Maria Alexandra Löhner '10
Maria is a junior at CMC and is majoring in Economics and Mathematics, with a Finance Sequence. Although she is originally from Washington DC, her family is German, fostering her interest in International Business. In addition to working at the FEI, Maria is the Editor-in-Chief of the McKenomics Newsletter, a Principal in the Student Investment Club, and Co-Founder and President of the Aspiring Economists' Society. Maria also manages a team of seven research analysts for the RAND/Lowe Institute project investigating judicial compensation. During the past two summers, she worked for AXA Financial in Melbourne, Australia, and at the FEI. After graduation, she intends to go into the consulting industry.

Nikolas Miller '10
Nikolas, from Pasadena, CA, is a junior at CMC. He is pursuing a dual major in Economics-Accounting and Mathematics, along with completing the Financial Economics Sequence. He is also strongly considering the Robert A. Day 4 + 1 BA/MBA program. In addition to working for the FEI, Nikolas works with Dr. Betty Borden, Ph.D. as a psychological office assistant. He previously worked with Dr. Borden as a research assistant. In the past, he interned at a small Merrill Lynch branch in Arcadia, CA. Nikolas is involved with a number of clubs on campus including the Student Investment Fund, Claremont Accounting Association, and the Claremont Consulting Network. Although still uncertain as to exactly what field he will go into after graduation, Nikolas hopes to pursue a career in finance, most likely in consulting or banking and earn his MBA.

Jane Pan, HMC '09
Jane is a senior at Harvey Mudd College double majoring in Mathematics at Harvey Mudd and Economics at CMC. She plans to complete the Financial Economics Sequence. In addition to working as a student research analyst at the Financial Economics Institute, she is involved in solo piano performance. She hopes to pursue a career in asset management after graduation.

Alexander Reichert '11
Alexander is a sophomore at CMC and intends to major in Economics with the Finance Sequence. Originally from Swampscott, Massachusetts, Alexander attended The Pingree School, a private day school on the North Shore of Boston. The past summer he worked for Cleantech Homes, a residential green building and consulting firm located in Beverly, Massachusetts. Alexander is a member of the Claremont Men's Lacrosse Team and currently leads panel discussions for the admissions office at Claremont McKenna. After graduation, he aspires to pursue a career in private equity or renewable energy finance, preferably in southern California.

Jennifer Volk '11
Jennifer is a sophomore at CMC majoring in Economics and planning on completing the Financial Economics Sequence. She is from San Mateo, California and is a graduate of Menlo School in Atherton, California. In addition to working at the FEI, Jennifer is a member of the Mock Trial team and works at the Athenaeum. After graduation, she is hoping to pursue a career in finance and earn her MBA.

Brittney Watson '09
Brittney is a senior at CMC majoring in Econ-Accounting and plans to complete the Financial Economics Sequence. In addition to working as a student research analyst at the Financial Economics Institute, Brittney plays center mid on the CMS soccer team, is a member of the Student Investment Fund, and a part of the inaugural class of Robert Day Scholars. After graduation, she will join Ernst & Young in the Los Angeles office.

Sophie Zeng '09
Sophie is a senior at CMC majoring in Economics-Accounting with the Financial Economics Sequence. Born in Guangzhou, China, Sophie moved to the United States at the age of six and has since lived in Hacienda Heights, California. In addition to working at the Financial Economics Institute, Sophie serves as the treasurer of the Claremont Accounting Association and tutors for the Accounting Department. This past summer, she interned at JPMorgan Private Bank in Century City, Los Angeles, working in asset management. Prior to that, she worked at the Bank of China LLP in Guangzhou, China through the McKenna International Scholarship program, where she learned about risk management.
