Many students and their families are frightened by the seemingly prohibitive expenses of private colleges. They understand why first-rate education must be costly, but they still do not see how they can afford it.
Claremont McKenna College (CMC) is committed to meeting the full need of all admitted U.S. citizens and permanent residents. We fulfill this commitment by providing quality customer service to both the need-based and merit-based student.
The information provided on this website is designed to assist you in learning how you can meet the expenses at CMC by identifying your financing options. Claremont McKenna College coordinates a comprehensive financial aid program consisting of scholarships,
grants, loans, and term-time employment through funding from state and federal programs, from its own resources, and from other sources.
All students attending CMC are awarded 100% of their determined need. Approximately 47% of our current freshman class received aid.
Any student who needs financial assistance is encouraged to apply for financial aid at Claremont McKenna College. Your need for financial assistance has no bearing on the admission decision. For more information on applying for financial aid at CMC click here.
