Endowed Professorships

Claremont McKenna College seeks to raise endowment funds to support the most important efforts of our academic enterprise: the teaching of students and the pursuit of innovative scholarship. We do this by offering generous donors the ability to provide tax-deductible contributions which will be used to cover the salaries, benefits, research, and other expenses associated with CMC’s distinguished teacher-scholars or to attract outstanding academicians to the College. By establishing an endowed professorship, also known as a “named chair,” donors become true partners with the College in our educational activities. Claremont McKenna College is proud of our rich academic heritage and the unlimited possibilities of the future for our leaders in business, public affairs, and professions.
